ManageEngine Applications Manager Integrates Support for AIX and WebSphere 6

AdventNet announced an important update to its ManageEngine Applications Manager, a web application management software that provides integrated application, server and systems monitoring. This update includes support for monitoring IBM AIX and WebSphere 6.
This release also adds another powerful feature called Script Monitoring through which existing ad-hoc Windows/Linux scripts, used in-house can be managed from the same Web Console.
Applications Manager provides in depth monitoring of Application Servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat), databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, IBM DB2), systems, custom Java, JMX, J2EE applications and web sites with fault management and notification capabilities.
Applications Manager Enhancements include:
* IBM AIX Monitoring
* IBM WebSphere 6 Monitoring – in Network Deployment and base configuration.
* HP Unix Monitoring.
* Custom Scripts Monitoring
* PHP Monitoring.
Applications Manager is available in three editions - a Free Edition, which can manage five applications, a Professional Edition, which helps small and medium sized businesses cost-effectively manage their IT applications and starts at $995. An enterprise edition with Unlimited Users Pack is available for $9995; it helps large enterprises to manage their diverse and complex applications, servers and systems with no extra license cost for additional applications.
