Dan Andrews   17 Jan 2007 23:06 GMTPage rating:

Ansir Development Limited is pleased to announce the release of the
1.0.0 version of our Worker Infrastructure for Java(tm). A screenshot
video of a complex progress dialog, which is included in the example
code, is available here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s277J-midmc

Features in this release are:
* Download includes a small (11k) redistributable jar.
* To help this product remain small and flexible we have leveraged
the new and improved SwingWorker, which is now integrated in
JDK1.6, rather than building yet another new treading model.
* Support to build any progress dialog you want and be limited only
 by your imagination.
* Javadocs for the public API are included.
* Quick-start-example code and an ANT script for building and
 running examples is included.
* JDK1.6 only (no backward support for JDK1.5 at this time).
* Source is not provided in this free version.
