SUMMARY AND IMPORTANT DATES

   * Deadline for refereed talks: November 30, 2006
   * Acceptance notification: January 2007
   * Conference fee is free for speakers in technical sessions

CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

  Jazoon, the European Conference on JavaTM Technology, brings
  together experts and professional users of Java and open-source
  technologies from all over Europe. Featuring a comprehensive range
  of topics, renowned speakers, a varied program of social and
  cultural events, parallel exhibition with integrated career platform
  and optimal logistics, Jazoon provides young professionals and
  established specialists with a unique live experience.

GET INVOLVED

  The Jazoon'07 conference invites you to share your experience and
  knowledge within the following categories:

   * Peer-refereed talks (30') within the technical program
     Submit a 3-5 page extended abstract (about 6000 characters) until
     November 30, 2006 (accepted authors pay no conference fee)

   * Work-in-progress presentations (30')
     Submit a 3 page extended abstract until Januar 31, 2007 (accepted
     authors benefit from 50%-reduced conference fee).

   * Software demos (45')
     Submit your proposal until March 30, 2007 (demo slots are free
     for non-commercial software).

   * Birds-of-a-feather sessions
     Submit your topic proposal until May 30, 2007. The conference
     organizer will try to pool similar or aequivalent proposals and
     invite the proposers to moderate the sessions (BOF sessions can
     also be proposed ad-hoc during the conference).

   * Pre-Conference Tutorials (half-day and full-day)
     Tutorials can be proposed for any topic of interest and will be
     selected by the organizers. Tutorials with less 8 registrations
     will be cancelled. (tutorial speakers will be paid).
