Elastic Path Embraces Open Source with JBoss Partnership

Elastic Path Software becomes a JBoss Certified Solution Partner to
provide customers an open source Java application server option,
formalizing a longstanding relationship with JBoss, Inc.

Vancouver, BC, Canada, June 30, 2005 -- Elastic Path Software, the
pioneer of flexible, developer friendly, Java ecommerce software
architecture for building sophisticated and evolving online stores,
announced today that it has become a JBoss Certified Solution Partner.
Customers aiming to reduce their Total Cost of Ownership and deploy
ecommerce software on proven and professionally supported open source
technology, now have a solid option.

Elastic Path has long been deployable on more platforms than any other
enterprise ecommerce software vendor, a testament to its Flexibility
First approach to software architecture. Certification with JBoss, the
market leading J2EE application server vendor, formalizes a
longstanding relationship.

"Our customers have been deploying our ecommerce server containing
core JBoss technologies for a number of years," noted Harry Chemko,
CEO of Elastic Path Software, "and we have furthered our commitment
to open source and minimizing the cost of ecommerce infrastructures by
becoming a JBoss Certified Solution Partner."

Tom Cooper, vice president of worldwide channels, JBoss, Inc. explains,
"Elastic Path has leveraged open source JBoss Enterprise Middleware
System technologies such as JBoss Application Server, Hibernate, JBoss
Cache and Apache Tomcat to reduce the cost and complexity of their
ecommerce platform. They are a pioneer in using open source components
for enterprise ecommerce and JBoss is pleased to have an integral role
in the success of Elastic Path customers."

Elastic Path supports proprietary applications such as Oracle AS, IBM
WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, and numerous others, but was the first
commercial Java ecommerce software deployable on JBoss AS. In fact, the
first Elastic Path deployment on JBoss AS was done for JBoss's own
ecommerce store.
