Canvas Studio Alpha Released

Canvas Studio is a digital imaging application based on the Eclipse
RCP framework. The application is still heavily underdevelopment
however some of the featurs include:

Palettes:
   * Image Navigator Palette
   * Tools Palette
   * Colours Palette
   * History Palette (Still in development)
   * Layers Palette

Multi-layered Image Documents:

   * Images can be made up using layers
   * Can load from
   * Can save to
   * Easy to develop and write your own plug-ins to load/save to
different file formats.
   * Layers Support
         o Blend Modes (still in development)
         o Layer Opacity

Plug-in support
   * Easy to develop plug-ins such as:
         o New tools
         o Different Image views
         o Image Filters
         o Image Load/Save plug-ins

Eclipse Integration
   * Written on the Eclipse RCP with Eclipse IDE integration. (still
in development, currently runs as a standalone application)
   * Allows you to edit/create pictures using Eclipse

Other features
   * Filters (including filters browser)
