[ANN] SwixNG 0.2 released

Michael Klaus   15 Feb 2005 17:50 GMTPage rating:

SwixNG is a XUL engine which is derived from, and mostly compatible with,
SwiXml.

You find the project homepage at
       http://swixng.sourceforge.net
and the summary page with tools for feedback at
       http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/swixng
respectively.

Features in this release include (but are not limited to):

- Swing widget set support (AWT and SWT support is planned)
- On-the-fly localization of GUI and model classes
- Support for TableLayout
- Prepared to support 3rd party Widgets and Layouts
- Parametrized Actions and delegates
- XInclude and Plug-in able XML descriptors
- many bugfixes

See the Changelog for details.
The current version supports medium sized projects with multiple client
classes and modular XML files. The samples work perfectly, and I haven't
heard of a single bug so far (bring them on, people! ;)

Hope the changes suit your needs! Feel free to use the discussion forums,
IRC or the mailing lists if they don't or I failed to explain them
correctly.

Regards,
       Michael Klaus
