[ANN] Java License Manager ver 2.0

Don Sykes   19 May 2004 08:08 GMTPage rating:

Version 2.0 is a major upgrade of our Java License Manager product.

Simply put, the purpose of the Java License Manager is to provide the
Java developer with an inexpensive method to license their software. The
developer can create temporary, or permanent, licenses for specific
product, customer and application versions. License verification is
accomplished by telling the license facility to verify a specified key
file. This can be done via 3  methods: GUI, CLI or API calls. There are
also 2 methods for license creation: GUI and CLI, so it can also
generate licenses in batch mode.

The new licensing scheme insures reliability via a recursive encryption
mechanism that starts with a unique seed key assigned to you when you
purchase the product. That seed is used to begin the encryption process
and progresses, recursively, through all parts of your license. There is
also a final check to insure the license hasn't been tampered with. New
APIs also insure that your decrypted license components remain unchanged
even after license validation, to prevent 3rd party software tampering.

While this product is intended for Java developers, it can also be used
by software developers implementing their products in other languages.
So long as the end user's platform supports the Java Virtual Machine.
As with the previous version, you can create new licenses via the GUI or
the CLI and you can validate licenses via the GUI, CLI or API methods.

The cost for this exciting new edition is still just $39.
