Concerns: MS Excel JDBC Driver / http://sourceforge.net/projects/xlsql As I received questions / hate-mail (what the word MS can do!) whether this was a win32 product. NO. JDBC is Java... It is based on Jakarta Apache POI. No MS Excel or win32 needed. It is even targeted at OpenOffice and propriety apps using the XLS filesystem. (OFF-TOPIC: and yes, I do use windows and I like it.)
