[ANN] Java Graph and Diagram Editor yEd v2.2

pr@yworks.com   13 Jan 2004 14:10 GMTPage rating:

yWorks is proud to announce the immediate availability of the new
version of its free diagramming and graphing tool for the Java
programming language 'yEd'.

yEd version 2.2 provides a completely new way of arranging, editing and
automatically laying out hierarchically nested graph structures. This
makes it possible to easily display, visualize, and analyze real-world
network and graph structures.
Another great feature is the addition of a sophisticated automatic
edge-routing module for orthogonal layout styles.

yEd is based on the universal and extensible Java Graph Layout and
Visualization Library yFiles version 2.2 and demonstrates many of the
available features and automatic graph layout algorithms.

Use yEd to create, import, layout, analyze, edit, export and print
graphs and diagrams. Export formats include: .gif, .jpg, .svg, tiled
images, .xml formats (graphml) and various plain-text formats.

Feel free to visit yEd's homepage at and get a free download from:

or directly start yEd as a Webstart(tm) enabled application from:
