[ANN] Jurtle 1.4 and Turtle of the Month

Otherwise has released Jurtle 1.4 and introduced the "Turtle of the Month".

Jurtle is a simple integrated development tool for learning to program in
Java.  While Jurtle is ideal for high school or junior high school students,
even adults wanting to learn the basics of Java will find Jurtle a great way
to learn.

With Jurtle, you learn to program by writing code that moves a virtual turtle
on the computer screen, drawing figures in its wake. This approach to
teaching programming is patterned after Turtle Graphics in the Logo
programming language.  Jurtle comes with many example programs and a series
of 16 short, self-paced lessons that serve as an introductory tutorial for
Java programming.

You can learn more about Jurtle and the new features in 1.4 at
<http://www.otherwise.com/Jurtle.html>.

***************************

The "Turtle of the Month" competition is a way for users to showcase
something cool they've written using Jurtle.  Submit your cool Turtle and
each month we'll pick one to highlight on the web site.  See your name "Up In
Lights".  The Turtles do not need to be complex or long, just something neat
that you've written.

You can read more about the Turtle of the Month and see the current one
"FeedMe.java" at <http://www.otherwise.com/TurtleOfTheMonth.html>.
