San Diego, Ca -- Optistic Inc. releases its 1.1 version of IDX:
Extreme Java™ IDE. IDX offers Java™ developers a fast and reliable
Integrated Development Environment at an affordable cost.
IDX version 1.1 provides developers extended templating, such as
"create template from selection", customized template menu
classification, and template instruction tags which control how the
template will be inserted.
IDX delivers enterprise-class editor features such as code completion,
code collapsing, auto formatting of tabs, and many more. IDX also
provides Java™ developers better and easier project class path
management through a feature called modules. Modules allow a developer
to independently manage API and project class paths/JDKs, and assign
module-to-module dependencies. This technique insures a correct class
path for every project.
Additionally, IDX is a native Windows™ application so its speed and
memory footprint are unmatched, meaning no garbage collection waits or
slow load times.
