Article: Using the Swing Application Framework

John O'Conner   14 Jul 2007 21:12 GMTPage rating:

A new article entitled Using the Swing Application Framework is now
available on the Sun Developer Network site:

http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/javase/swingappfr/

The article describes how to use the new framework reference
implementation, which is specified by JSR 296. The framework is a
lightweight framework and helps new Swing developers get started by
adopting best practices for interacting with the Swing event dispatch
thread, creating localizable resources, handling events, creating
Actions, etc.

Regards,
John O'Conner
