Drools development team has announced the release of
Drools 2.0 final. They write in, "Drools is a
Rete-based Rules Engine written in Java, but able to run on Java and .Net. Drools is designed to allow pluggeable language implementations. Currently rules can be written in Java, Python and Groovy. " Aside from stability the release only contains updated documentation.
