The Netbeans Profiler project has announced version 0.2 of their Visual GC integration module. They write in, "This version adds the possibility to select the JVM from a combo box listing all VMs running on the local machine, removing the need to use jps, ps or task manager separately to figure out the PID of the process to monitor."

The JNode development team has announced the release of version 0.2 of JNode. "This is a major release that features the first possibility of running real world java programs on JNode... The Java XTools project, an extensive collection of enhanced functions and features for Java and Java 3D, has announced the release of version 1.4.1. The GeoServer OpenGIS implementation project has announced the release of version 1.3.0-beta3 with major enhancements. "Many improvements were made in the latest releases, mostly on the WMS front. SLD-WMS operations and reprojection are supported. The CITE WMS tests are passed fully. More datastores are available (though many can use testing). Many bugfixes from geotools and udig have been merged."
