I use linux 32bit eclipse 3.4.1 on FC6 for java development. Pressing Ctrl+Space to activate content assist display a row of funny characters on KDE 3.5.7-1.fc6. Please help.

Many times while developing in Eclipse, it randomly decides to rebuild my workspace. Is there a way to turn this off?

What is the best way to back up your code while in the middle of a coding session? It would be nice to have a toolbar button that saves the current version of the file you're working on into a backup archive. It would be a "one-click backup." Has anyone seen this
