I m taking some input from the user in a java program. and i wanna set
a time limit within which the user should provide this input. if no
input is provided during this time interval, the program sets the user
input to a space (ASCII code 32). other wise the user input is set to

Are there any command line debuggers for Java?
Aside from JDB, I mean. JDB is OK but I wonder if
there are alternatives. Thanks for any info.

I am working on a webapplication and trying to implement a logic of
downloading a .zip file when user clicks on a particular button.
This .zip file should be generated dynamically.
For this, I am using ZipOutputStream class. I am passing my string

   I am using java.net.SocketInputStream to read the Http response.
For the first read, it takes around 2 minutes, but for the subsequent
reads, it is very fast ( in ms). Where could be the problem ?
