Hello!
I have no experience of macintoch but is just a bit curious weather there is
a JDE for mac? If there is, where do you get it, cos I haven't found it on
sun's homepage?
...and second of all is there JRE for mac?

If you're talking about OS X,
There's Xcode (from Apple), Eclipse, NetBeans (to name a few).
The JRE is there, but you'll need the JDK to build java apps. It's
available for free from their website.

"Their" in this case meaning "Apple's", not "Sun's".

Althought it aint' cheap, IntelliJ (www.jetbrains.com) works on a Mac
and it is excellent.

I've used both. I've even used the IBM version of Eclipse. I like
IntelliJ much better.
