Sun Java Studio Creator (2004)

Thread view:

I just bought the licence to this program over Internet.

I just wonder, why it is not possible to open a 'Program.java' file
from the menu. I can only open a very complicated project template.
There is simply no way of opening my 'Program.java' file to compile it
and execute it.

Why does it work like that? -Are there something wrong with my setup,
or should it be like that?

I really don't understand this. I would just like to complie my
'Program.java' and run it, but this doesn't appear to be possible. I
would be very happy, if someone could help me with something on this
problem.

No replies? -I'm sorry. §;-)

I found out something about projects, and how to make project
templates. I also succeeded to import my Java File and compile it, and
then worked with it in the debugger. It's easy to make some 'project
templates', so what I'm really missing is some 'Sample Projects' to
get startet with. -I just can't find any in this program installation.
-Shouldn't there be some of these in the standard installation?

But otherwise, I think that this program appear to be worth the
$99.00, that I paid for the licence. It's quite new, so maybe this is
the problem, since there are no replies about it, or more
documentation on it...

There are probably something about IT on SUN's homepage (Sun.com), so
I will have a look there of course. Could be, that 'Sun Java Studio
Creator' is the future, so please have a look at Sun's download
center... §:>)
