setting up tomcat 5.0.27

Thread view:

I downloaded tomcat 5.0.27 just last night, but can't find precise
instructions on how to set it up anywhere.. latest instr. I have found
are for 5.0.19.. (and this version is not among the downloads at
jakarta.apache..)
jakarta.apache does not have detailed instructions to set up 5.9.27..
when you go to "setup" in jakarta's site
(http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-5.0-doc/setup.)
you find very little...  one of the things it says in this page is

"Using the checkbox on the component page sets the service as "auto"
startup, so that Tomcat is automatically startup when Windows starts.
For optimal security, the service should be affected a separate user,
with reduced permissions (see the Windows Services administration tool
and its documentation)."

where is this "checkbox", "component page"?

I would like to find the same detailed instructions that I found for
5.0.19 at
http://www.cs.umd.edu/~walid/spring_2004/cmsc424_0101/project/tomcat_5.htm

for 5.0.27..  would appreciate some suggestions..  thank you..

made a mistake about two lines down, meant 5.0.27, not 5.9.27..
