Where to start developing software for Java-enabled phones?

Thread view:

I did a quick search over internet, found several emulators for MIDP enabled
devices. For example
nice SDK is provided by Nokia at forum.nokia.com and so on. But what is a
common practice in
software development for MIDP devices? I mean SDK/IDE etc. btw, are there
any plugins for
Eclipse?

In case someone looking for an answer on the same question I'll describe
what I did:

I've downloaded Wireless Toolkit version 2.1 from java.sun.com,
next I've downloaded Nokia's SDK for Series 40's, and after explorering
installation trees of these two products I know how to develop software
for at least my mobile phone (it's Nokia 6230)
:)
