Running Java-apps in Mac Os X

Thread view:
Petteri Laine - 02 Jul 2004 19:39 GMT
Hello!

Do you know any tools that would help me in composing a deployable
mac-app, so called application bundle.
This tool would have to run in windows or linux and my (java) app in mac.
Browsing through earlier threads I read about this Install Anywhere,
but they seem to have discontinued the free version (Now!).
The app in question is for a school project with no budget so the tool
must be free (of charge).

Yet to clarify: I'm the developer writing a java app. I have windows
and linux.
My "client" has a Mac. How do I compose my app. bundle?

Thanks!

have a look at http://mindprod.com/jgloss/installer.html

One of the tools may be both free and Mac-capable.

Consider Java Web Start.
