how to execute queries in EasySql?

Thread view:

http://easysql.sourceforge.net/

Says in their help file:

# Execute query with results in existing ResultSet (Ctrl + Alt + E)
# Execute query with results in new ResultSet (Ctrl + Alt + W)

but when I press CTRL+ALT+E I only get a black square (probably an attempt
to type the euro sign), and when I press CTRL+ALT+W, nothing happens....
