Looking for remote windows registry query of installed apps tool

Thread view:

Hi,
I'm trying to find some sample code (or finished) that would help me
write a java app that can remotely connect to any Window 2000/NT
system and retrieve a list of all installed apps with their versions.
I presume it's some form of registry query.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.
