Accessing CVS from Sun Studio

Thread view:
Hawkeye - 24 Feb 2004 00:46 GMT
I have CVS on a Linux Box with SSH access (no pserver). The version is SSH2
I am trying to access it from Sun Studio on my Windows Box. There seems
to be no option in CVS setup for anything other than pserver in the GUI
config.

Any experience in setting up this access ?

Thanks

I use netbeans and had the same problem.

My solution was to install a cvs client on my windows box,
set up keys to be used in authintication and then tell
netbeans to use the external client.

Any URL which refers to the setup you did if possible? I assume you used
winCVS
or Cygwin CVS for Windows

Thanks again

No. Just Netbeans with external cvs client.

Best regards.
