hey can sum1 please help me..

i installed the java sdk 1.42 thing now i installed Scite as well but when i
try run a program ive written in java it gives an error in the output screen
of...

>The system cannot find the file specified.

can anyone help me?
Do i need to set the path of the sdk's or what?

Well leeds_united... you didn't mention your os.
I assume you are running on win.
Even there it would be helpfull to know which version.

This seems to be obvious.
javac is not in the path

If you are on win me or 98 you should set the path in autoexec.bat.
In XP you can set it in system settings-> system -> advanced ->path
variables (perhaps the names are wrong because I use a german version)
