I have started using eclipse v2.1. I have a pre-existing source code
tree which I want to put into an eclipse project. The directory
sturcture of the source code is Source \ com \ foo \ bar and the
packages under the Source directory is com.foo.bar. When I imported
this file system it worked fine, but I have to import another source
code tree into the project which has the directory structure of Source
\ mock \ com \ foo2 and the package for these are com.foo2. However,
when I bring in these files I get errors stating that the expected
package Source.mock.com.foo2 does not agree with package name
com.foo2. Any suggestions on how to import these other source tree
elements.
Thanks

Did anyone answer to your question ?
Because i have the same problem.
I try to import a project and because the tree source does not
correspond exactly to my package source, i get errors.

Try importing from Source\mock rather than Source (or should that be
Source\mock\com rather than Source\mock). Anyway, try both and hopefully
one will import the packages with the correct source root.
