Windows XP && (SunOne || NetBeans) == NO GO!!

Thread view:

I am trying to run either IDE on a compaq laptop
with XP + SP1. Both install, but when i try to
compile the system crashes. I got 256MB RAM.
Have no problems with W2K+SP3.

Is there anything broken with XP? Or with my RAM?

The JSK1.4 works fine.
Thanks

I'm using Win XP Pro + SP1 and NetBeans (3.4.1, 3.5) on my development machines
without any problems. The only problem I've noticed while debugging was an AV in
runide.exe when I've installed update from Windows Update.
This problem gone after several reboots though.
I have 512MB RAM.

PS: there some known bugs in NetBeans 3.5 I've came across too.
But they are not specific to Win XP install.
