Javadoc using XSLT stylesheet

Thread view:
Stanimir Stamenkov - 14 Oct 2003 18:55 GMT
I've just started to make a draft for improved HTML template for use
with the javadoc tool for generating API docs. Looking at the code
it seems pretty confusing the way it is done at the moment so I've
wondered if anybody haven't thought of (or done it using) such
approach: The doclet generates temporary XML documents which are
then processed with param specified (or using default one) XSLT
style sheet to generate the actual HTML output?

O.k. just found XmlDoclet
<http://www.sun.com/software/xml/developers/doclet>. Does anybody
know of XSLTs for generating standard Javadoc HTML output for using
as starting point for modifications?

My primary goal is to make customized HTML versions of the standard
javadoc easily without messing with Java Doclet code.
