Thread view:

Hello,
I have recently installed Apache Tomcat 5.5 on Windows 2000 OS.
How to use the file
C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat
5.5\common\lib\servlet-api.jar
to compile the servlets?
Please help.

When compiling your servlets, have this jar on your classpath
(just like you include any other .jar files on which your code
depends). Do not include it into finished application (.war file);
it'll be provided by the application server at runtime.
