java and net beans co-bundle installer hangs at 8%

aaargh, 88Meg download through bad dialup connection

any ideas? Windows xp home edition.

Has Microsoft fixed his somehow?

It is hanging at 8% "preparing j2sdk 1.2.4 components for installation,
please wait"

and wait I have , to no avail

ahem........... should read: j2sdk 1.4.2

could be that you have downloaded a faulty zip-file :-(
I had problems with 1.4.1 on an XP. 1.4.2+NB works fine.
