Right newgroup?

If this is not the correct newgroup for this could you point me in the
correct direction, otherwise....here is the question.

Jave uses a JVM. Why can't compilers be build for Java at least on the
popular CPU's?

There is no problem to build compilers for Java. There also compiler
avaible who create native code.
