Java web based reporting

Thread view:
ashok_guntu@yahoo.com - 23 Feb 2005 21:02 GMT
We at our current project have a reporting system based on oracle
reports.  We convert the reports into pdf format to display on line.

We want to move away from oracle reports to some java based reporting
system which can generate pdf files on the fly.

Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance.

Is written in Java, comes with API library, can run over the Web, generates
reports as HTML, PDF or Java objects. Can cascade reports for drill-down in
all formats, export data into a file, etc.

I work for a company that has a product that can generate PDF
documents on the fly. The company name is ceTe Software and the name
of the product is DynamicPDF Generator for Java. Following is the link
to the download of fully functional evaluation version
http://www.cete.com/Products/GeneratorForJava/Download.csp. Look at
the Simple Report example which shows how to generate PDF documents on
the fly by interacting with the database. The examples are downloaded
with the product download.
