Use Ant for Eclipse Builds

Thread view:
Marcus Leon - 04 Feb 2005 22:30 GMT
Is there a good way to replace the Eclipse default building mechanism
with Ant scripts?

I have an app with tons of ant scripts and I would like to use these
instead of Eclipse.  Can I get Eclipse to use the ant scripts instead
of the usual way Eclipse builds?

I would like any errors from the ant scripts to appear in the
problem/error list in Eclipse as with a regular Eclipse build.

Thanks

You can run any ant script you like from eclipse. Just right click on
the one you want and select Run -> Ant build..., then select the target.
Later you can find targets you have run in the main run menu unter
external tools.
