JSP with Eclipse

Thread view:
Neil Barnwell - 22 Aug 2003 14:45 GMT
I'm a newbie to Java (previously VB 6.0 - don't say it), and using Eclipse
to build HTML front-end webapps (not going anywhere near Swing).  I've
noticed that Eclipse "out-of-the-box" doesn't do syntax highlighting or code
insight on JSP pages. This is a pain when I want to use beans and don't know
exactly what is available.

Does anyone know if there's an Eclipse plugin which supports JSPs fully?
I'm sure I can't be the first person to have this trouble.

Cheers,

Neil.

This is a pretty weak area of eclipse. You might want to look at
www.myeclipseide.com.
