Could you re-phrase your question? ... or say what you are trying to do.

Hi ge0rge,
Your question is not very clear. It is ambiguous. As far as i
understood you want to run a jsp file and you dont know where to place
the jsp file. If that is your question, then it depends on which
JSP/Servlet container you are using. If you dont have a container
installed then Tomcat is a good option for learning.

hi Sundar,
since you have been wrting quite a few posts here lately, may I suggest
that -
* you reply to the relevant poster ... and not the last post in the
thread? Your posts are directly under posters who have already replied
to the Original Posters but your replies are addressed to the OPs' too.
* also please reply inline or bottom post (with judicious snipping at
the right places). Top posting makes it harder to follow the
conversation flow - although this habit seems to be ubiquitous in emails
nowadays :-(

Otherwise welcome and I am sure your help is appreciated.

just want to add to this one..)

I do not especially care what the habit is for emails.
This is not email - it is usenet.  It is a different medium,
and different rules* and constraints apply.

* By 'rules' I do not mean 'legal' rules, so much as
'rule' of thumb, or the 'rules' of common sense.

You helped me understand some good practices. Thanks for your
suggestions george.
