about reading of properties file

hi,
I am using properties file for accessing common variables and
modifiable....
like host = localhost but we can host to any ip address...similarly i
want to access the file name..
for example mib = com/ems/panels/IEEE -MIB
mib name can be changed..but system couldnt file in the same path...how
shall i specify path mane in properties file

Is that a space in the path?
