Jbuilder 8 won't switch printers under Redhat 9

Thread view:

I'm not sure if this is a "Linux" issue or a "Jbuilder under Linux"
issue.

I'm running the student/free version of JBuilder 8. When running under
Redhat 9, I can't change which of two printers documents are sent for
printing. I can, under Windows 2000.

I unchecked the "Defaults to Last Printer Used in the Application"
opton under KDE's print options. It still won't allow me to change
printers (nor is it printing to the "default" printer).

How can I change what printer documents will go to from one session to
another?

I don't have this problem under any other application I use to print,
under Linux.

If you don't have problem with other apps, it shouldn't be an issue of
linux then.

So, let's turn to JBuilder. I don't use that but generally many apps
have print settings submenu under File menu; within the settings some
apps (for example, openoffice.org) let you change the print command for
different printers. You may want to have a look at those? I guess you
know -p option for lpr is for choosing a printer.

Hope it helps,
