Java Problems on Max OSX

Thread view:
brian_erdelyi@yahoo.com - 11 Jul 2006 16:22 GMT
I have an Intel iMac.

For work I use an SSL VPN (SSL Explorer), that launches a Windows
desktop (ProperJava RDP client).

It was working and at some point stopped.  I don't know exactly when it
stopped working.  However, it is related to my system.  When I use from
other iMacs (such as at the Apple Store) it works as expected.

How can I fix this problem and remove all the Java support and
reinstall?

The lack of an Add/Remove capability is very frustrating.

Add/Remove capability for what?  Java?  Mac OS X comes with Java
pre-installed.  It always has from its very first incarnation, and it
doesn't allow you to remove it -- though some subsequent Java updates
could be removed.

It's not clear just what your problem actually is or just how it's a
Java problem.  You'll need to be more specific -- which OS X version,
which Java version, etc.
