Netbeans V5......Tomcat just won't start.. Why??

Thread view:

My appologies if this is not the correct forum  but I am desperate.

I have downloaded Netbeans V5.0 with JDK 1.5.0_05.  Tomcat will not start.
It just seems to hang until it times out.  If anyone else has had this
problem OR can direct me to a possible solution  I would be deeply grateful.

PS Netbeans refuse to answer my emails!!

Since I am guessing you are using Netbeans 5.0 and their embedded
Tomcat. When you start Tomcat what does the console say? Any errors?
