Could have sworn there was some default JMX viewer/browser available,
but looking around
the Java tree, nothing's jumping out at me. Anyone have a clue what
I'm thinking of?

I finally saw it -- i was thinking of jconsole, which seems to be
included in at least the J2SE versions.
