Hi,

I tried to download Java 1.5 from the sunsite and the java site, but I
can only find upgrades. Where did the full javac software go???

There are no such thing as upgrades in the sense you need the previous

It is update and not upgrade. It must be something like j2sdk 1.5
update 5. That means jdk1.5.0_05.

It is an updated Jdk and not an upgrade version.
