Java applet image effects

Thread view:
Gary - 20 Sep 2005 11:48 GMT
I know similar questions have been asked before, but I haven't found
the answers all that useful. Can anyone suggest some good resources
(online tutorials or books) for programming image effects in a java
applet? I'd like to code a range of weather effects and some general
animated image manipulations.

Thanks

You could take a look at processing.org . It's an open source library
for all kind of graphics in PApplets (processing applets)

I remember seeing  processing.org some time ago, and I thought that
might do what I want, but I just couldn't remember the name. Thanks so
much, you're a star!

O'Reilly's 'Swing Hacks' has got some seriously interesting and useful
examples of what you can acheive using Swing. It's a great book to have
around...
