Dear All, I want to download a a.jar file ( java, jsr-82 program. ), when I send this file to some mobile phones, they can ask me to install or not, but when I send the same file to Nokia 6230i, it didn't ask me this, and I can't install this program, becasue the message shows "unsupport format". A lot of new phones are starting to block people from uploading programs/games onto their phones from their computer, which then forces you to buy them instead. Greedy bastards. > I've heard of this. That has nothing to do with it. The Nokia series 40 phones need the PC Desktop Suite in order to install applications, which is itself a free application from Nokia.  SignatureDarryl L. You need the Nokia PC Suite. It comes with the appropriate conduits for installing Java applications onto the handset.
