Thread view:

hi,
i have a java applet that randomly genrates some points/pixels
according to an equation. The applet is working fine but the problem is
how do i save it as an image (for my presentation). I have to save
various stages as images for comparisons in my report.

a) Why an applet?  Can you do this as an application?

b) URL?

[ Please try to remember to add the '?' - it helps people
who are 'scanning' the text, and you get better/more
replies because of that. ]

Look for the 'Java and images' section.

Note: If you try that in an untrusted applet, the security
sandbox will prevent it (SecurityAccessException's and such).

What presentation?  What materials/resources are
allowed/available at this presentation?

[ If you have access to a PC with a Java enabled browser
and either a removable disk drive (floppy, CD/DVD, flash,
USB..) or the internet, it might make more sense to 'present'
the applet in a web page than as a bunch of static images. ]

[ Paper report?  You can always print the web-page itself.. ]
