Hi,

I barely figured out a java chat on my web page and the alt keys work
for international characters in xp, but not in 98. Can someone clue me
in?

Thanks

This has nothing to do with Java, but with the keyboard map that is installed
on these systems.

Okay. How do I fix it? The alt characters work in all other
applications under 98.

thanks

That makes my previous statement be based on a false assumption.  What
component are you using to input the chars?  Do the events of a KeyListener
report the right chars?  Are you using different JRE's?
