I dont know how to set enviroment variables for JRE on Win ME,
or exactly what should they look like.

Please tell us specifically what you mean by "enviroment" variables. By the
way, this spelling is going to make Google searches very difficult.

Please also tell us what problem you are trying to solve, not just your idea
about how to solve it.

What Java version are you attempting to install?

Is it the SDK (developer version) rather than the
JRE (runs java)?
