Hi everybody!
I have a huge problem, and hope for some help...
I'm actually working with a web application which streams data in PDF
format on target windows.
Some of those byte-streams-PDF are generated by iText libraries, while for
others it's been used
the lighter Orinoco.
The whole world seemed perfect while I was developing on a workstation
with windows NT and
Acrobat Reader 6.0 on it.
Problems came when we decided to upgrade to windows XP pro: The pdf
streams originated
from iText are still working fine, but the Orinoco ones are properly
displayed but absolutely unable to print.
But - here comes the thrill - if I save the pdf as a file after the window
popping up, and then re-open it,
print starts correctly.
The printer is a HP LaserJet 4100 and it hasn't been substituted.
Have you got any idea?
Adding info:
1) The printer is local (so it shouldn't be network/sharing problems)
2) Printer's drivers are up to date.
3) We even tried to download and install Adobe PostScript but nothing
happened.
Thanks in advance and please, excuse my english.

Check http://mindprod.com/mimecheck.html
Try "viewing" one pdf of each flavour. I bet one has the wrong mime
type.
