Need help with Java & Netscape Navigator

Thread view:

Could someone please tell me how to view java applets in Netscape
Navigator 7.1?  I have no problem getting java applets working with
Internet Explorer, but my N.N. will not show anything except a turquoise
blue colored puzzle piece that says I need to get the required plug-in.
I downloaded the plug-in from java.com, but it still doesn't work ....
Clearly I'm an amateur at computers, so any assistance from anyone out
there in cyber world would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance ....

Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
click on java plug in.
Click on the browser tab and see if netscape is selected
