The Coffee Servers Journeyman's Program is well established and respected.

Licensure (Registration) requirements vary. Most jurisdictions require
accredited Program completion and 2.17 years supervised working experience.

Different companies react differently to certification, but it doesn't hurt
anywhere.
The much more important thing is to actually understand the material. If you
can do well on the certification exam, it does indicate some rote knowledge.
Now the challenge is to use that knowledge effectively.
Practice using your programming knowledge effectively. That counts for more
in most companies, especially the better ones. Every employer appreciates
educated, motivated people who work hard to continue their skills development.
The fact that you worked to attain certification and succeeded would count
more than the certificate itself for enlightened management.
