Commercial Program Loads in one, not in another

Thread view:

I've got a program from Nortel that loads/runs fine in many machines
but won't run in my main laptop.

I get: "Could not find a valid Java virtual Machine to load."

But I have jre1.6.0_05 installed in my recently completely redone XP
installation.

I've got no idea how to get this figured out - if I could get some
direction please?
